In this video Tutorial, I’m going to do a Rainbow Funnel Ripple Acrylic Pouring with rainbow colors. In case you’re not familiar with this fluid art technique, it’s one where you add colors to the funnel, and then instead of traveling it on the canvas, you would lift it in short quick moves while keeping it at the same place. 

And as you release small amounts of paint from the stem of the funnel at a time it creates beautiful ripples that almost look like ripples on the water. I’m super excited to see how this acrylic pouring technique is going to look with rainbow colors! I have never done it with rainbow colors before.

Cadmium Red

Alright, my friends, so there you have this abstract painting! Tropical crushing wave with rainbow colors! Although it doesn’t look like a rainbow at all. It’s very interesting, honestly, how the colors are entering the funnel because I layered them in the rainbow order but the way they were coming out of the funnel was completely different. That is why I actually want to experiment more with it just to see if I can get more control over the way how colors exit the funnel, so there is more control over the color layout and composition of the fluid painting. This abstract artwork has a very cheerful summer energy in my opinion.
