Gorgeous Acrylic Pouring with Bright Cells - Fluid Art Tutorial
Let’s create an Aqua Flow Acrylic Pour Painting in this video tutorial. This time I just want to have fun and enjoy the process, so I want to go for the open cup technique. This is one of the most consistent techniques for me, in terms of results. I’m always getting beautiful results, really amazing cells with this technique.
And I have to say really effortless cells because no silicone is needed. And I want to continue my acrylic pour painting series of long panels done with some ocean and aqua colors with splashes of gold and red, and of course, will change the composition a little bit. The recipe for the open cup technique, and for the traveling open cup technique, that I will do today I like to mix my acrylic paint with Floetrol and water.

I find that this mixture works the best, it gives me the best cells, and also I really like the overall flow of the paint. I also want to show you the consistency to which I like to mix my colors for this acrylic pouring technique. I hope you will enjoy this pour painting with me and let’s get started.
Alright, guys, this abstract painting is all finished and done! Isn’t it gorgeous?! I totally love how this pour painting turned out. So I have finished it with a layer of resin. That is why this fluid painting is very glossy and shiny – a glass-like finish. I really love the top part of this pour painting. It’s very soft and delicate but with a lot of movement in it. And then it blends into a super bright explosion of colors. This gold is so shiny! And of course a lot of cells. A lot going on here and then this explosion of colors blends into a really dark and deep section with this deep turquoise phthalo.
I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
