Welcome to new Black Hole - Galaxy Art Acrylic Pouring video tutorial. This time, I'm in the mood for a space-theme painting and I'm going to show you how to create a Black Hole inspired abstract painting using an embroidery hoop, and of course, fluid acrylics.
"Abyss" is a secret message for this galaxy painting. And I'm going to use this ring not only to separate the Black Hole section from the rest of the pour painting but also to give it a twist, and to create a movement of colors merging and being sucked into the Black Hole.
So first, I want to add in all colors and start working on the composition of this fluid painting. I'm going to pour some black inside my ring and of course, I have a lot of black color in this abstract art lesson.

Acrylic Colors and Supplies used in this Black Hole -
This is going to be the main one but I've got quite a beautiful space color palette. And I want to have some black color on the outer edges of this pour painting but definitely not everywhere. Because there is a lot of black all around as well it's going to be just harder to differentiate and separate the Black Hole section from the rest of this galaxy painting.
So let's see how this creative fluid art idea turns out and without further ado let's get started.
And now this galaxy art acrylic painting is done and finished. I covered this abstract artwork with a layer of epoxy resin, of course. I think it's absolutely the best finish for any space-theme-inspired painting. And I ended up adding quite a bit of color around the black hole and I think it looks so much better now. There's a lot more contrast between this space matter, around it. And the Black Hole itself this way it's definitely a lot more defined, it really stands out, and it makes just much more sense. So after the touch-up, I love this fluid painting so much better.
I hope you enjoyed this acrylic painting tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
