Cascade Gradient Pour

Vibrant Overflow Series ~ Acrylic Pouring ~ Flow Art
Welcome to the new Cascade Gradient Pour Abstract Art Video Tutorial. Let’s explore a new way to create gradient pour painting. In all my previous gradient pours I have applied the base paint on my panel and then I would add colors with a gradient in one flow. This time I will change things up. I want to have actually the whole side of the panel with gradient colors and another part is going to be just solid color and negative space.
Of course, I will share my details as I go with acrylic pouring. I work on the 16 by 20 cradled wood panel. “Cascade flow” is a secret message for this pour painting. Also, I want to have sort of a wavy movement in my flow. One part is going to be this dark color, and on the other part, I want to have colors of the gradient.

For my colors of the gradient, I want to move from cool colors to warm colors. Also, I want to make my colors overlap with each other a little bit. And to blow it out I’m planning to do something new. First, I will blow out on a border between my negative space color and the colors of my gradient and then blow out other parts. Let’s see how it works. Without further ado let’s get started.
Alright, this fluid painting is all dry. I covered it with a layer of epoxy resin, and there are two main things that I would like to mention about this abstract pour painting. So, first is – Oh, my God! I love it! And the second thing is that I am totally going to do the whole series of abstract paintings in this style. Of course, with different color palettes. And I am naming it a “Vibrant Overflow”. I think it really suits the overall feel and energy of this type of acrylic pour painting. The whole color palette is super intense, there is a lot of contrast, a lot of vibrant and really bright colors. The overflow, really powerful overflow of colors, the gradient, the cascade it all makes this flow painting really amazing. I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
