Welcome to Colorful Gradient Acrylic Pouring video. I continue the exploration of the gradient effect in my acrylic pour painting, and today I want to try something new. I will make a smooth transition from one color to another to create a gradient in my pour painting. And I will use a blowout acrylic pouring technique for that.
But you don’t have to use this technique. It can be any acrylic pouring technique. In case if you have seen my previous video, I’m going to stay within a similar color palette. Instead of a black and white color split base, I want to work just on a white base. I have a little bit of black prepared here just in case if I would like to create some shadows in my gradient painting.

Today I’m going to have four main groups of colors from cool colors blue and turquoise here, violet, some reds, and some orange with yellow. I think I’m going to start with my blue. And I want to have very minimal negative space for this abstract painting. I want to have bursts, bursts, bursts of colors. Let’s see how this pour painting turns out. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
This gradient effect acrylic pouring is amazing. And I love, I love how it turned out. So first of all, right after I finished recording my video I added two more finger swipes. I really felt like I want to bring the composition of this gradient pour painting together a little more. I needed to really bring this all together, to emphasize this movement, the burst of colors, and all the sections with yellow, and red-violet, and purple, and blue. They look like they’re bursting from behind each other, and that looks like fireworks of colors! Which are just perfect right before the New Year to create this atmosphere of joy and colorfulness. I am beyond happy with how this abstract acrylic painting turned out. Probably one of the most colorful fluid paintings in the whole year for me.
Happy with this abstract artwork, that’s awesome! I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
