Tutorial For Beginners | Acrylic Pouring Triptych | Ocean Art
Welcome to new Crazy Cells Pour – Mixed Media Abstract Art Tutorial For Beginners. In this Abstract Art lesson, I’m going to work on triptych with some beautiful and bright tropical colors. This is a commission work for a lovely family from the Netherlands. And they wanted me to take the concept from one of my previous pour painting, that I did on a long panel and basically applied to three long panels.
So, the triptych and color-wise I have a lot of beautiful reference pictures with some tropical islands and the gorgeous turquoise-colored ocean shore. And I love that color palette myself! So, I am super excited to work on this fluid acrylic painting! And I have prepared a lot of colors.

First of all, I’m going to add a secret message on all three panels. And I have 8 by 24 inches cradled wood panels that I have primed with gesso. And then I’ll add my base layer. So, I want to have a dark turquoise on the bottom in a sort of diagonal shape. And on the top part I’m going to have an aqua color also sort of a diagonal alignment. Let’s see how this creative fluid art idea turns out. And without further ado let’s get started.
Here is this triptych all done and finished with a layer of epoxy resin. This Acrylic Pour Painting looks just perfect! The dance of tropical breeze. I think that this abstract ocean painting turned out to be very light, cheerful and breezy. This painting has so many details, but at the same time a lot of negative space, which I think really makes it balanced. And it doesn’t feel overwhelming! I totally love this cheerful color combination and all of beautiful and stunning details! Ocean compositions are one of my favorite. I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
