New Tool + Tips! | Earth Day Abstract Art - Fluid Art Tutorial
Welcome to the new Earth and Moon Acrylic Pouring video tutorial. I continue my “Dancing Universe” series. And this time I want to create our dear homeland – Mother Earth, and its satellite the Moon.
But first of all, in this fluid art tutorial I want to share new acrylic pouring tools with you that I’m going to be using for creating planets, nebulas, and all kinds of spheres in my Dancing Universe. I have been exploring, trying to find some easy accessible tools that can be used for spheres and can be easily found online and in most craft stores and I finally found it. So, in this video tutorial, we’re going to create the Earth and the Moon.

Composition-wise for this pour painting, I also want to try something new and interesting. All of my previous planets and satellites were content inside of the canvas or panel. And this tim I want to have part of my Earth to be outside of the panel. “Mother Earth” is a secret message for this abstract planet painting. The order of the steps for this artwork: I’m going to add colors, first and create the colors and the texture of my spheres, and then I’m going to create the negative space. So, let’s see how it works. Let’s get started.
Here is this planet pour painting dry and covered with the finishing layer of epoxy resin. Meet my first Earth painting! I really love how my Earth and Moon turned out! I also really like the movement with the iridescent black blue dry, with this beautiful serene shimmer. It adds so much beauty to the base of this fluid painting. I think it really complements my composition with these two spheres. So, I am overall definitely happy with this abstract Earth painting even though it came with some challenges. You know for me, this abstract painting is a reflection of the fact that we all are children of our beautiful planet and I just really hope that one day we will learn to live in peace and balance with each other and with nature, of course.
