NEW Tool ~ BREAKING THROUGH ~ Dutch Pour Fluid Painting
3D Effect in Acrylic Pouring! In today’s acrylic pouring video tutorial I’ll share with you a very exciting new tool! It’s a huge cookie cutter that can take your dutch pour composition to the next level. If you would like to try something that I’m about to try, in your fluid painting, you can use something similar. It can be a lid, a plate, or really anything big and round that you can find around the house.
I absolutely loved the 3D effect I was able to achieve in my fluid painting. Thus I decided to start the series of paintings that I called: “Breaking through the limits”. This series is dedicated to creativity that’s always breaking through all the limits and obstacles. And I’m inviting you to join me.

In this fluid art tutorial, I’ll use the blowing or dutch pour technique. It requires a very fluid consistency, which allows creating the most beautiful lacing, cells, and color transition with the most simple pouring recipe.
In today’s acrylic pouring video tutorial I’m working on the 16 by 20 cradled wood panel. For my base, I want to have darker colors. I’m using prussian blue and red-violet. When these two over mix, they create a very dark, sort of violet color. I want to create an impression that this flow and burst of color goes through the ring. This will give us a 3D effect in our Fluid painting. To create that 3d effect that I mean, the one part of the flow of the blowout has to be behind the ring and one in front of it.
