TEXTURED Art + Paint Pouring | Abstract Stencil Art Tutorial
Welcome to the Flame Mandala – Mixed Media Abstract Art video lesson. In this new fluid acrylic painting tutorial, I’m going to show you how to combine the acrylic pouring technique and mandala art using a textured stencil application. And this time I want to go for a really hot, flaming hot color palette.
In the first part of the video, I’m going to show you how to create this dancing flames color base, and we’re going to isolate some negative space in circles using these rings. And in the second part, I’m going to show you how to embellish this hot fluid painting using a lot of gold and some other metallics, we’re also going to use stencils to create beautiful mandala embellishments.

“Flame dance” is a secret message for this abstract painting. First of all, I want to pour some black inside of the rings. In those sections, they will stay just pure black.
If the paint goes a little bit outside of the ring, it’s fine as long as it’s everything’s covered inside. Then I’m going to be adding colors for my negative space. I want it to be really hot, full of flames. It’s gonna still be black base, but I want to create some shades. Let’s see how this acrylic pour painting idea turned out. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Oh, this fiery pour painting is so beautiful! This fluid painting with textured stencil embellishment is done and finished. This one is definitely the hottest one I have done in this style and in this particular look. I love it. The flames are totally dancing around mandala art embellishments. And I really like how the colors turned out. I just love how gold, copper, and orange work together, this is so beautiful. And these drippy sides also look super cool because now it’s in balance with the rest of the sides of the acrylic painting because the rest of the sides are also drippy. I hope you enjoyed this acrylic pouring tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
