Beautiful Fluid Art Tutorial | Diy
Welcome to the new Happiness Flow – Paint Pouring Abstract Art tutorial. In this fluid art lesson, let’s work on the multi-color base. I have a full scope of turquoise colors from dark to light, and I also added the ultramarine blue, and those are going to be the colors of my base. And on this beautiful marine deep base, I want to create a beautiful dancing flow. It’s going to be primarily with gold with some pops of magenta and orange.
“Happiness within” is a secret message for this abstract painting, also it’s an amazing reminder. I’m working on a 20 by 20 inches cradled panel this time. The main goal for this pour painting for me is to achieve a lot of depth and movement in my base. And for the flow, I want it to be very uprising, empowering, yet delicate and wispy.

For the base, I have a medium turquoise mix of blue and green and some lighter turquoise colors. I’m going to pour out all of these colors first, and then I’m going to blow them out in my base. The ultramarine I want to be closer to the bottom part. Then greenish-blue, also turquoise but this is a dark one. And then turquoise blue, turquoise green and finally some iridescent color for beautiful shine and accent. So, let’s see how this one turns out. And without further ado let’s get started.
Here this fluid painting is dry, finished with a layer of epoxy resin, and it is just stunning. This glossy finish adds so much depth to the base and really brings all the colors to life. I love how my multi-color blue base turned out. So happy that I used multiple colors, there is a lot of dimension and movement in this acrylic painting. And because I blew out my base in the same direction as I was playing my flows, they’re very much in harmony together. You can see them flowing and dancing together. But because the orangey gold creates so much contrast with this turquoise and blue base, it really pops on such a background. I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
