Acrylic Pouring Tutorial by Olga Soby
Step-by-Step Fluid Art Tutorial ~ Dutch Pour
This is a “Here Comes The SUN” Acrylic Pouring EDITION today! In this Fluid Art tutorial, I want to experiment and create a glowing sun pour painting with the central blowout technique. While working on this fluid painting, I remembered The Beatles song “Here comes the sun”🎸🌞
Did you know George Harrison wrote this song when he was tired of office work and was walking in his friend’s garden with a guitar? As for me, creativity is always a break from routine and everyday life! So I suggest you take a break from your routine and create your own sunny acrylic pour masterpiece. o previously, I have done the central blowout technique for our collaboration with Molly from @Molly’s Artistry.

And I really love the technique and the effect it creates. It’s perfect for a sort of bursting or shining effect, so I thought it’s going to be perfect for creating a sun in the sky type of painting.
So for my sun, I want it to be a combination of white and gold, for the most part, to really have that shine when the painting is going to be dry. So I first add in some white, and I want to add gold just over it. So when I blow it out, it sort of all blends in. I think it looks pretty cool. I also want to add some orange. I think that would also be nice for a glowing warm effect. I also add a few drops of yellow, and a bit more white. And from the sun, I want to gradually add lighter blue to darker blue. So let’s see how it works.
This sun reminds me of the ancient Greek symbol of the sun, where the rays of the sun go out in a bit of a curvy sort of wavy movement. I think this painting also totally got that energy, that vibe, and I totally love it.
I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
