Welcome to the new Holiday Acrylic Pour Painting - Abstract Art tutorial. This time I want to do a Christmas painting that's going to be full of really bright cheerful colors of this holiday season. I also want to try a few different things with this fluid painting, I will introduce them to you as we go.
"Wishes come true" is a secret message for this pour painting and this is what I wish to all of you this holiday season. So for this Christmas tree abstract painting, I'm going to use the hoop to separate one area of my painting and create an interesting effect. Also, I want to go for a color-split base.

Acrylic Pour Painting:
For my color split and in general, for this holiday spirit painting, I want to have a lot of green with some pops of red and gold. So, yeah like I said we are in a holiday color palette. And for the color split, I want to go for a little lighter green on top, a little darker at the bottom. So for the darker one, I mixed some black into my green, and for the lighter one some white, and even a little bit of red to mute this green a little bit. And the flow I want to be really bright and contrasting. First of all, let's pour this out and work on the negative space. And inside of the ring, there's going to be different color, I'm not going to pour anything inside.
So let's see how this Christmas art idea turns out and without further ado let's get started.
Here is this Christmas tree painting dry and fully finished. Oh, I have to be honest, this acrylic painting was more like an experiment for me, and I think it turned out even better than I was hoping! Because this flow painting turned out so free, flowing and very abstract. Yeah, that has this perfect resemblance with a decorated Christmas tree and just the overall holiday spirit and vibe. I like how this white here in this green sort of resembles a little bit of snow.
I hope you enjoyed this acrylic painting tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
