Hello, my creative and artistic friends! This time I’m working on a HUGE Black and White Acrylic Pouring. This canvas is 18 by 36 inches, definitely much bigger than what I normally work on. So, this is going to be fun! For this pour painting, I will use a traveling funnel acrylic pouring technique. I got my funnel ready, just a much bigger at this time, because I would need a lot more paint to flow in that funnel.
And for colors for this fluid painting, I have crimson red, red-violet, silver, cadmium yellow medium hue, copper, orange, and some turquoise metallic. I just mixed some metallic blue and metallic green to get that turquoise. And, of course, the black and white, because this is going to be a color split base fluid abstract painting.

Acrylic Colors and Supplies used in this HUGE Black and White
My main color palette for this abstract artwork is going to be very bright and warm, and this is why I have added some silver and some turquoise metallic to create accents and to balance out that bright, warm red. First of all, I’m going to create this sort of curve for the border between my black and white base. And of course, I’m going to add a secret message to this pour painting. So, let’s see how that’s going to work. I’m thrilled to work on such a large painting! Let’s go!
What I think helps a lot is using a step ladder, or some sort of to look from above at your artwork. Especially, when you working on a larger fluid painting, it really helps you to get a better perspective and have a better look at that acrylic pouring composition.
The outcome is really beautiful! So much energy and movement in this abstract painting! The colors are super bright and juicy. I’m very happy with this artwork, that’s awesome and super modern! I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
