Welcome to the new MOON Phases Acrylic Pouring video tutorial. I continue my “Dancing Universe” series. It’s so much fun. I have created some really amazing beautiful planets and galaxies in this cosmic acrylic pour painting series. And this time I’m going to show you how to create a moon or actually two phases of the moon.
We’re going to create the Full Moon and Waxing Crescent. And for this one, for Waxing Crescent, I’m going to show you a new, fun, and super-easy way to do it. I think you will love it a lot. “Dancing Moon” is a secret message for this fluid painting. And you know the Moon is quite a dancer, spins constantly, quickly, and never turns face away from her partner.

Acrylic Colors and Supplies used in this MOON Phases
Oh, wow! The way this cosmic pour painting looks dry and fully finished is so cool. And I think that this silver, the iridescent blue-green, and, especially, this iridescent black-blue combined with some darker colors like violet, like in this fluid painting, or blue, or black – they work so amazing for cosmic and space type of painting. Because they create this depth. And I just love it. And of course, the silver is especially perfect if you want to create a moon-inspired abstract painting. So, yeah, I am very happy with the way my moons turned out. The Full Moon is absolutely fantastic! It was quite perfect immediately I would say. But I especially love the Crescent. I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
I don't know what I like more about this pour painting, the base or the stencil embellishments. Probably, it's a combination of the two but both of the parts worked out so perfectly. I have already covered this abstract painting with varnish, so this is why you can see this light uniform gloss sheen on this whole piece. The copper shines so brightly, definitely has the flame kind of energy in it. And I'm so happy that I added the turquoise in a few sections of this fluid painting because it definitely brings more interest and life in this color palette.
I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Create with Passion!
