NEW Tool for 3D Effect in Fluid Painting ~ Rainbow Abstract Art
This time I want to create Pink Floyd Acrylic Pouring with 3D Effect on Huge canvas. Today’s Fluid Art video tutorial was inspired by the famous album cover “Dark Side of the Moon” by @Pink Floyd ! I know you all have seen this album cover before. This is the image where a ray of white light enters the triangle and then exits in the spectrum of visible light, so colors of the rainbow.
So I decided to continue my “Breaking through the limits” series with 3D effect in acrylic pouring and trying out a New tool again! In the first three paintings of this series, I used different kinds of ring shapes.

It was a bigger circle, smaller, double ring, and it turned out really awesome. But today, I feel like time to change things up and try something new. This time it would be a triangle like on the album cover.
In this pour painting, I’m working with beautiful colors of the rainbow. I think this painting is totally awesome! The energy of it and the flow totally just captivates me.
The series is so much fun, and I feel like there is yet so much to explore in it. Join me! 😊
One important tip that I want to share with you. When you work in a dark background if you don’t want your colors to look super dark and dull the next day when the paint is dry, make sure to choose opaque colors. Because if you’re using straight-up transparent colors on dark, the dark is going to shine through your colors and it’s just going to look super dull and muted when the paint is dry.
When you work with the blowing or dutch pour technique, it requires a very fluid consistency and allows creating the most beautiful lacing, cells, and color transition with the most simple pouring recipe.
I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
