Welcome to this new Round Canvas Acrylic Pouring ~ Abstract Art video tutorial. This time, I'm going to show you how to create a beautiful flow painting on the black and white color split base. And with this color split, what can be better than some red and some gold?
"Passion" is a secret message for this acrylic pour painting, and I'm working on a round canvas that is 20 inches in diameter. For the color split, I have sketched out the border. Fluid art tip for you: whenever you also plan out your color split composition, this is definitely a great idea to sketch it out first before you start pouring those colors. And I want to have a little more on my black side and less on white negative space.

I think the types of layouts with some waves and diagonals look so much more interesting than just straight-line color splits.
Even when I have white negative space in fluid acrylic painting, I still like to make sure the sides are covered. Because even though the sides are white from gesso, the gesso is not as white as Titanium White. And once the acrylic pouring is dry, you can actually see the difference between gesso in those sections where it wasn't covered, and the white paint. Let's see how such an abstract art idea turns out. And without further ado let's get started.
This super contrasting fluid painting has dried perfectly, no touch-ups are needed. All I have left to do before varnishing is to sign this black and white pour painting. And voila! Of all the recent abstract paintings that I did, this one is my absolute favorite. The striking contrast, the delicate movement of this flow, gorgeous sexy colors, and endless, absolutely endless beautiful details captivate me in this fluid painting. I especially love gorgeous cells and lacing. And this round canvas also makes a very interesting effect. I hope you enjoyed this acrylic painting tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
