3D Embellishment + Color Layering Tips | Fluid art Tutorial
Welcome to the new Stunning Diamond - Mixed Media Abstract Art video tutorial. This time, I'm going to show you how to create a vibrant painting using turquoise and orange together without getting any mud. After that, we will embellish this pour painting to give this artwork a beautiful 3d effect.
"Imagination" is a secret message for this acrylic painting. I'm working on a 20 by 20 inches canvas and for my base, I want to go for prussian blue, a very beautiful dark color. I have got quite a few brighter colors for two flows, and let's get started with a base of this fluid painting. So I'm just going to pour the paint out and work just with a solid color, it's not going to be a multi-color base.

I have previously painted the sides of the canvas because prussian blue is quite a transparent color, so that will help my sides have better coverage. The 3D embellishment is going to be in the center of this flow painting. I want to have two flows on each side but I like to keep them dynamic, I want to create a diagonal movement. The prussian blue is an amazing base, it works very great with so many colors but it works especially awesome with turquoise colors because they're sort of in the same color family.
So let's see how this fluid art idea turns out and without further ado let's get started.
I think this abstract art painting turned out so cool. I really love the combination of these straight lines and geometrical forms with all the curvy lines and movements. Usually, I hide secret messages and symbols in pretty much all of my pour paintings but this one is especially symbolic. The diamond shape in some traditions is a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment and combined with the orange color it's an excitement of learning and exploration. And the turquoise color is quite opposite, it's a symbol of tranquility, creativity, and intuition, especially when combined with such free-flowing lines and shapes. So quite complementing meanings and by combining all this symbology in one fluid acrylic painting, I really wanted to encode the unity of powers that stand behind a successful artistic process.
I hope you enjoyed this acrylic paint pouring tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
